After 18 months wait Fox have confirmed the date 24 is to return to our screens. Season 7 will premiere on January 11th and 12th in a 4 hour special. For those who just can't wait that long (all of us!) there will be a 2 hour TV movie titled 24: Redemption showing on November 23rd. these are US dates so you can either wait for Sky or locate a download on the web the day after.

Like it or loathe it, Rob Zombies reboot of the Halloween series breathed a lot of fresh air into a dying franchise. No one can argue at how bad things had become by the time Halloween: Ressurection came out. I personally loved RZ's remake. yes it was a totally new take on Michael Myers and changed almost every aspect of the story we had loved for so many years. What is wrong with that? If RZ had gone ahead and made a straight remake then how pointless would have that been?

Over the last week in the run up to Halloween E4 presented each night a mini series called Dead Set. It was actually a 2hrs 20 mins film split up into installments. The story is set in the UK during a zombie outbreak and focuses on a group of survivors who are holed up in the Big Brother house. An advantage of this is that E4 is owned by Channel 4 which allowed them to film on the set of the real Big Brother house for that added realism. The actors chosen to play the housemates were perfect, the usual collection of misfits who are all self centred and craving the media spotlight.

It's hard to believe that it has been 10 years since the first X Files movie. Now the sequel is out and they've decided to go with a subtitle instead of the number '2' tacked on the end. As a movie it stands alone story-wise. You of course get the ongoing relationship of Mulder and Scully but all the other characters and movie can be watched without knowing anything of the characters.

I've not much to say about this one, except that I heard it a few weeks ago on Annie Mac's show and have been obsessed with it ever since. A bit of bangin' drum & bass never hurt anyone, that's what I say!! ENJOY!!!!!

This is on the "Electronic Battle Weapon 10" or "Midnight Madness" 12" and it's the same, but instead of saying "superstar dj's" it says "2 many dj's" which is Soulwax's alter ego when playing live. Geeky I know, but that's just the way I am!!!!!!! ENJOY

When I heard that the Chemicals (one of my all time fave bands) were going to have someone remix "Hey Boy, Hey Girl" for the release of their "Brotherhood" album, I got worried. And then I found out that the remixers were going to be none other than the geniuses that are Soulwax. Then I wasn't worried anymore. I think this remix is incredible and I love it just as much as the original!!!! Check it out, an absolute classic reworked and reborn for 2008. ENJOY!!!!!!!

If I said the names Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay you probably wouldn't have a clue who I was talking about, but they are french electro superstars Justice. After listening to their incredible DJ set at Amnesia last month (which I can post up if anyone is interested), I have been listening to them non stop. This is my favorite of their their tracks, and has been a permanent fixture in my DJ sets since I first got hold of it almost a year ago. ENJOY!
